OUR PROPERTY
Moon Shadow Haven is an inviting and magical escape with its breathtaking views in the desirable Texas hill country. Spend any time along Johnson Creek’s sparkling waters and you feel it — the magic, the mystical serenity and sounds of rippling waters framed by tree-lined bluffs reflecting centuries of unspoiled wilderness. This native refuge evokes romance naturally. For over 100 years, families have lived and loved at this historic site.
The property itself boasts 17 acres of the most gorgeous rolling hills overlooking 1700 feet of frontage along the ever so popular Johnson Creek. The mature trees throughout the property seem to have been perfectly placed to encourage a slight breeze that visits religiously every evening.
OUR LODGE
Lovingly rebuilt, this elegant lodge combines whitewashed stone elegance with a taste of glam.The space is accented by a 40-foot vaulted ceiling with beautiful wood beams, stunning chandeliers and plenty of windows, providing a beautiful backdrop for you to bring your events' vision to life. The Lodge can accommodate up to 250 people. It’s the perfect place to dine and dance the night away.
The Lodge also includes two elegant spaces to prepare for your special day. A Bridal Suite for the bride and her squad to take photos and sip champagne as they get ready. It offers lounge space, vanity’s and a restroom. It also includes a cozy patio space right outside the doors. The Groom Suite is an ideal place to unwind before saying “I do.” It comes complete with a TV, leather seating and restroom.
OUR CHAPEL
Our property offers you two choices for a wedding ceremony or celebration of any kind. Get married along Johnson Creek’s sparkling waters and say your vows under towering trees, surrounded by lush gardens and sun-dappled shade or in our gorgeous chapel which provides you a quaint ceremony space.
OUR CABINS
Part of our charm is that you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. We offer convenient on-site accommodations for guests to celebrate with you multiple nights. Our cabins offer a combined eight bedroom's to accommodate 26 total guests. Each cabin has its own furnished kitchen and full bathroom. The main house has three bedrooms, one full bath and one half bath. A complimentary honeymoon suite is provided for the lovely couple on the evening of their event.
