GETTING HERE
We are about 30 miles from Fredericksburg, Texas.
From San Antonio
Take Highway I-10 West.
Exit 490 for TX-41 toward Rocksprings/Mountain Home.
Turn left onto TX-41 W.
Turn left onto TX-27 E.
Turn right onto Mountain Home Rd W.
Moon Shadow Haven is located on your left.
From Austin
Take Highway US-290 West.
Turn left onto Friendship Ln.
Turn left onto TX-16 S.
Merge onto I-10 W.
Exit 490 for TX-41 toward Rocksprings/Mountain Home.
Turn left onto TX-41 W.
Turn left onto TX-27 E.
Turn right onto Mountain Home Rd W.

ACCOMODATIONS
Moon Shadow Haven conveniently offers onsite cabin rentals for you and your guests. Our cabins offer a combined eight bedroom's to accommodate 26 total guests.

Cabin #2: 1 queen, 1 sleep sofa /futon, Queen bed and Queen sleeper sofa in separate rooms.

Cabin #3: 1 queen, 1 sleep sofa /futon, Queen bed and Queen sleeper sofa in separate rooms.

Cabin #6: 1 king
Each cabin has its own furnished kitchen and full bathroom. The main house has three bedrooms, one full bath and one half bath.
RATES
Main House only: $350.00 per night + $150.00 cleaning fee
(Main House sleeps 8. 1- King, 1- Queen, and 4 twins)
Cabins: $150.00 per night + $50.00 cleaning fee
(Cabins sleep 4 each in 2-Queens, except for one upstairs cabin with only 1-King.)
Damage deposits will vary depending on rental type, and will be equal to one nights rental.
OTHER ACCOMODATIONS
THINGS TO DO
There is a very large deck behind the cabins, a large gas fire pit, and loads of wildlife including Axis deer, whitetails, fallow, sika and the occasional black buck antelope, wild turkeys. The area is also amazing for avid birders.
We are about 30 miles from Fredericksburg, Texas, which has amazing shopping. Do it yourself wine tours or chauffeured guided wine tours are available.
Johnson Creek is the major tributary for the Guadalupe river, which is wonderful for kayaking, canoeing and floating.
